3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. Acceptance inspection and periodic testing should be carried out to verify that the abrasive paper meets the requirements of this standard.
(Changed edition, Amendment No. 1).

3.2. At least 1% of rolls of abrasive paper or packages of sheets from a batch, but not less than 3 pcs., clause 2.9 - 0.1%, but not less, must be subject to acceptance control for compliance with the requirements of clauses 1.1, 2.6.1 and 2.6.3 three rolls or bags.

3.2.1. The batch must consist of abrasive paper of one specification, produced in one shift and simultaneously presented for acceptance according to one document.

3.3. If during acceptance control it is determined that there is non-compliance with the requirements of the standard for more than one controlled indicator, then the batch is not accepted.
(Changed edition, Amendment No. 2).

3.3.1. If non-compliance with the requirements of the standard is established for one of the controlled indicators, then repeated control is carried out on a double number of rolls of skins and sheet packages.
If there are defects in the re-sampling, the batch will not be accepted.
(Introduced additionally, Amendment No. 2).

3.4. Products (one of the sizes of rolls, sheets) that have passed the acceptance control according to clause 3.2 must be subjected to periodic testing for compliance with the requirements of clauses 2.7 and 2.8 0.5% rolls of abrasive paper or packages of sheets with a grain size of 16; 8; 5 and M40, but not less than 3 pcs., clause 2.8 on all types of substrates.
(Changed edition, Amendment No. 2).

3.5. Periodic testing must be carried out at least once a year.
(Changed edition, Amendment No. 3).

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. Determination of the tensile strength of sandpaper in a dry state according to GOST 6456-82.

4.1.1. The tensile strength of abrasive paper in a wet state is determined as follows: prepared samples of abrasive paper are soaked in water at a temperature of (20±2) °C for two hours before testing. Excess water is removed with filter paper and immediately tested according to GOST 6456-82.

4.2. The method for determining the cutting ability of abrasive paper is in accordance with GOST 6456-82 with the additions specified in paragraphs 4.2.1, 4.2.2.

4.2.1. Before testing, sandpaper samples are subjected to drying for one hour at a temperature of (100±5) °C.

4.2.2. The cutting ability of the sanding paper is determined by:
clamping force - 25.5 N;
grinding time - 5 min.
Testing of 16-M40 grit sandpaper is carried out with air blowing.
The limit of permissible error in weighing samples of organic glass plates when testing sandpaper with grain sizes M63-M14 is ±0.001 g.

4.3. Control of dimensions, uneven thickness, appearance of the working surface of the sanding paper - in accordance with GOST 6456-82.

5. LABELING, PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

5.1. On the non-working surface of the roll of abrasive paper, every (150±15) mm in the longitudinal and transverse directions the following must be applied:
manufacturer's trademark;
symbol;
batch number.
Note. By agreement with the consumer, the dimensions of the roll or sheet may not be applied.

(Changed edition, Amendment No. 1, 3).
